Nyrkkeilyn raskaan sarjan entiset mestarit Tyson Fury ja Shannon Briggs astuvat kehään ensi vuonna.

Miehet selvittelevät välejään ensi vuoden puolella, mikäli Briggsia on uskominen. 45-vuotias jenkki kertoi asiasta Instagram-tilillään.

Briggs iski väliaikaiseksi maailmanmestariksi vuonna 1997 kaatamalla George Foremanin. Vuonna 2006 hän kukisti WBO-liiton titteliottelussa Sergei Liakovitshin.

Viime keväänä mies jäi kiinni dopingtestissä (uutinen).

Fury puolestaan nujersi Vladimir Klitshkon marraskuussa 2015 ottaen haltuunsa WBA-, WBO-, IBF- ja IBO-liittojen mestaruusvyöt. Sittemmin mies kärysi kielletystä aineesta ja luopui titteleistään. Fury ei ole ollut kehässä Klitshko-voittonsa jälkeen.
